The Norus series was cleverly crafted to be one of the most durable pumps on the market. First, corrosion resistance was achieved using a stainless steel and poly Amide fiber-reinforced resin on the outer casing. An anti-wicking resin protects water from entering into the pump motor housing if the power cord gets damaged at the entry point. An air-filled continuous duty motor with a cast iron bearing housing was designed for structural integrity and excellent heat dissipation. Thermal overload protection prevents the motor from overheating if the rotor locks up. The vortex impeller is designed to handle the most challenging solids, including fibrous solids and stringy material.
