The thermostat is made with a heavy-duty control box that can withstand the harshest weather conditions. This device is designed to activate your de-icer at 30°F (factory setting) and keep it running until the air temperature reaches 31°F or higher. It is fully adjustable to operate within a temperature range of 0°F to 81°F. The thermostat is UL-listed for safety and reliability.

The Scott Thermostat features an impact-resistant enclosure and comes with an 8-foot power cord. Simply plug the unit into a GFI-protected outlet, then plug your de-icer into the thermostat.
