The Scott Aerator Dock Mount De-Icer is suspended under the water's surface with the help of a heavy-duty, stainless steel dock plate. It can be mounted quickly and easily onto almost any type of dock and can be adjusted to fit different water levels. It acts as a buffer to prevent ice expansion and pressure damage. Our 1/2HP De-Icer can keep a minimum area of 50 feet diameter ice-free, and up to 70 feet using the 1HP model, even under extreme below zero winter conditions.
